Connection Dropouts

Since the Windows update that changed the interface for connecting devices, I have experienced far more issues with connecting to Tacx and Garmin devices. I have even experienced losses of connection during rides. This is very frustrating as, in particular, I have never experienced dropouts of connections during rides before. I am using bluetooth connections, which have always been recommended over ANT+. This needs investigating and correcting.

I have an iPad Air 4th generation (iPadOS version 26.5) and a garmin forerunner 265. The Bluetooth signal for the heart rate drops very frequently while trying to do a workout, with pop up message appearing onscreen each time, obscuring the information needed to do the workout. Strangely this doesn’t issue with the Bluetooth signal didn’t happen while doing a ride.

    I'm on Windows 10 v7.0.7

Garmin HR dual dropping multiple times using Bluetooth, even on connection screen.

Occasional drop out of power and cadence data from Elite Direto trainer over Bluetooth too

My fairly new Garmin heart rate monitor drops and immediately reconnects every minute or so. Running the latest version of the app (7.0.6) on Mac OS 22.7.6 Monterey. No problem with the other sensors. Previously connection was stable. Happens across different rides.

Same with me V7.07, bluetooth disconnections. there were Windows Updates, I cannot say more, except I never have had that before in years, yesterday 3 times in one ride, …. This should be examined rather sooner than later. Thank you
