Data point: it’s now fully functional for me. 7.0.6. iPad 6th gen on iOS 17.7.10, which is the latest available for that model. Wattbike Atom V2.

Using 7.0.6 and IPad on Wattbike and I noticed that resistance was slow to respond and was always a couple of seconds behind my Garmin display. I amended power smoothing from 6 to 3 and I think it was better but not certain

Checked again yesterday. Using FulGaz 7.0.6 on IPad and Wattbike Atom V1 using firmware version 1,02.01 there is no change in resistance with gradient. There is an option to change the bike firmware to 6.00.33 but I am reluctant to do that. Version 1.02.01 is described as stable. When I last checked Windows version 7.0.7 had the same problem.

Using FulGaz 7.06 on iPhone iOS 26.5, with a Wattbike firmware version 1.02.01 (current version). There is no resistance or change to gradient. Video gradually slows to 0.19 of the original pace before effectively freezing. Gear changes on the Wattbike have no effect as the gradient changes and video slowing grinds everything to a halt eventually. Tested a number of times on Col du Tourmalet from Saint Sauveur where there is a good change in gradient within a short period of time from the start. Worked perfectly prior to the 2 recent FulGaz updates.

Wattbike Atom v1 with iPad (8th Gen) on iOs 26.4.2

mentioned it in previous support tickets: the cadence and gear ratio is completely different since the update to 7.0.6. When I was pushing gears 5-7 at a 6% incline before I am now at gears 13-15 to achieve the same power output. It is functioning for me but it does not feel as real as it did before. My uphill slope scaling is set at 100% in the new version as opposed to 75% in the old version (as for hills over 15% I ran out of low gears at 100%).

PS: today I hit a brief 18% incline and was spinning on gear 13 up that hill. Previously I would have been in gear 1 or 2.

Wattbike atom v1, samsung tab 9+, android 16, fulgaz 7.0.6.

As far as I'm aware all fully updated.

Last time I used it was on 14th May - Champagne SuperRova.

Not a hilly course but with enough undulations to require gear changes under normal conditions.

Did the majority of the ride in one gear with the odd change to relieve the monotony at more or less a constant wattage with no perceptable change in resistance up or down hill.

The only thing that changed was the speed and that did vary with the terrain.

It's now six weeks that the app has been virtually unusable, in common with many I used to champion Fulgaz - I'm now looking at refunds and alternatives.

Just to add on what Malcom just posted as mine is pretty much the same. I haven’t been on it for awhile due to the issues. I am using Wattbike V1 atom firmware 1.02.01. Apple i pad air (3rd gen) IOS 26.4.2. Fulgaz 7.0.6. did a quick test today to see if any changes. I didn’t get the unable to pedal resistance which i had before. The ride interestingly has disappeared from my ride history but i did upload it. (About a 162 rides have been added to RH today all 0 Km 0 mins ! ) Anyway i attach the FIT file for the ride in

    2026-05-19T10_56_53Z_Škoda_Tour_LuXembourg_2022_-_Opening_Stage.fit

    54.4 KB

case that helps. I rode in gear 9 and kept rpm to 90. For the whole ride watts hardly varied whether i was going downhill to -4% or uphill to 8%. You could see my speed v original rider changed, the mph changed but no real resistance change at all. I only changed gear once up and down a bit to check it and the bike resistance did change so gears are working. The attached Strava picture shows constant rpm and watts only the speed droped on the hill despite watts and rpm the same. Hopefully the FIT file etc will give you more pointers

Using iPhone 8+ with IOS 16.7.16 with a Wattbike Atom bought in 2020 currently using

    Version: 6.12.1

    Issues are as follows:

    1. Gear display keeps disappearing from the hub

    2. The ride froze today for no reason

    3. The rider on the screen appears to be moving much faster than usual

    4. The main issue is the lack of resistance a seen in the photo where I was riding in gear 19 on a 10% incline where usually I would be in gear 3 or 4

This is the third support ticket I have submitted and was promised on the last one that the resistance issue would be sorted immediately.

As I’m paying annually, I’m becoming increasingly frustrated at not being able to use my indoor bike with Fulgaz as I have in the past.

Rode Nico Myers ‘Ponte Arche to Riva Del Garda this morning just in case anything had changed - wishful thinking.

15 miles, elevation gain 1200 ft, elevation loss 2200 ft all in gear 13 or 14, incl 9% at 80 cadence, with no noticeable change in resistance.

Also noticeable I had to put as much effort in going downhill as up, in fact thought it was harder.

Klem, I've seen your f/book post and I appreciate efforts are being made but there are an awful lot of us paying a subscription for nothing. I do feel we should offered a chance to pause our membership until this is sorted.

When will this be resolved please? It’s taking far too long!

Seconded. My annual membership will be up for renewal in less than a month and I won’t be renewing unless this is fixed, or there is at least a workaround which means rides are realistic in terms of resistance. This was raised very early on and is absolutely fundamental - without it there is no product, so I would encourage an early (but properly tested) release. If necessary use the resistance technology which used to work reliably in v6.

It would also be nice to have a bit more feedback from Fulgaz as to what the status of this issue is, as it is so fundamental to the Fulgaz experience.
