Zwift Ride/Play Controllers support
Is it possible to add support for the Zwift Ride/Play Controllers/Click?
From what I’ve read, Rouvy already support it.

When FulGaz announced they had been taken over by Rouvy I was not very happy, but went straight over to explore and try out the rides. At first glance there were things I did not like but there were things that I really liked. I ended up getting the Zwift Cog and Click to try out “virtual shifting” It is perfect for me, and would be really happy if FulGaz were to adopt the support for it.

The application UI and virtual shifting on Rouvy is better than FG. The rides, however, on Fulgaz far exceed those on Rouvy — and that’s why we use it. The FG ones are filmed from bikes — the right speeds, the right seated and viewing angles, the right movements. Rouvy films are for the most part filmed from cars or other vehicles, and just feel… strange.
I too have an absolute desire to stay with Fulgaz — they are the platform that certainly transformed my winter training, by offering bike-filmed rides from absolutely everywhere and with some incredibly amazing routes, which are not on Rouvy. So many rides which are long and enjoyable, and also many which are specifically coded as loops to continue riding on when you feel. This is also something missing from Rouvy.
I contacted FG directly about this same virtual shifting issue a few weeks back, they understood the request but said at the time they had no plan at all to integrate virtual shifting as their codebase would not support it. I also asked if then the ride library from Fulgaz could be ported or exported to Rouvy to drastically enlarge their rather limited video selection — but also no.
Now that this acquisition is in place, and 2 of the 3 apps involved support virtual shifting, we can only hope the funding and expertise will trickle down to what I consider the best real-world video riding indoor software. Fulgaz deserves it, to be honest, and I am sure thousands will agree.
Zwift team — please support Fulgaz, its founders, and its thousands of members who would not only benefit from being able to use their Zwift Bike, Cog, Clicks, etc with Fulgaz, but continue to use and enjoy their subscriptions for a product which is 100% usable to all.
Thank you! 🙏🏼🥰
A humble Fulgazer.

I currently use a dedicated bike on a smart trainer and maintaining the mechanical gear shifting is the biggest pain point of my setup. It’s not a massive pain but I like the idea of fewer moving parts, more gears, and instant shifting.

I have been with Fuglaz for years, but have been considering dropping it, even though it is my favorite platform, due to two reasons: 1) rides failing to load or dropping mid-use, and 2) the lack of zwift cog integration. I have been living with #1 for years, but since I moved to the cog system, which made my life WAY easier for shifting bikes on and off the trainer, I have not used Fulgaz. It is just so much easier to not have to worry about shifting rub and cabling going slack. Also, my wife and daughter started using zwift this year, and wanted to do fulgaz, but only if they could have the convenience of the cog with perfect shifting without maintenance. We all talked about it on our group ride. If that feature was added, I know my wife, daughter, and my two friends would have all been on fulgaz

It would be awesome to have Zwift Click integration with FulGaz.

This really the only thing that keeps me from going back to using FulGaz full time.
I was originally a FulGaz’er but I’ve been using Rouvy for some time since they have native support for Zwift Click and FulGaz does not. But I much prefer the much much better 4K videos and routes in FulGaz and also the gradient simulation in FulGaz feels much better and more natural.
So please 🙏 FulGaz… introduce Zwift hardware support 😊

Being forced to use QZ when on a Zwift Ride is a pain, esp. When considering that Rouvy handles the Zwift Ride pretty well 😢

Having the flexibility to change bikes on the trainer without worrying about cassette compatibility is a huge feature addition!

I use 4 different bikes on my Kickr, with a mix of gear setups. The Zwift cog removes all the compatibility issues. But without gear changes you need to focus on flattish rides as it’s like riding a single speed. I’ve tried adjusting the % of slope adjust but it’s not great. I’ve been thinking of abandoning Fulgaz and going to Zwift, but I really prefer the real video to graphics. So Zwift click/ cog compatibility would be a game changer.

Fulgaz is the best format for long rides - for me. Hope the integration with Zwift’s Cog & Click happens very soon 🙏🙏 so that i can do the long rides without ERG.
