Tacx NEO 2T latest firmware - cadence issues with FulGaz
Reported via support: The latest firmware update for the NEO 2T disabled the cadence connection in FulGaz. Cadence no longer shows on the connection screen (only trainer control and power).
Disabling device filtering in FulGaz (settings → diagnostics) does get the cadence connection back, but the values are incorrect, fluctuating from too high though to too low.

I have the same problem. After upgrading my Neo 2T to 2.7.0, cadence is no longer shown in FulGaz (on an iPad). If I run the TacX training app it shows cadence correctly. This seems like a FulGaz problem. Is there any solution?

Currently there is no solution to this I’m afraid. I am getting reports that it is no longer possible to roll back the firmware on the NEO 2T trainers (which did resolve the cadence issue). Our developers are continuing to investigate.

Reverting to previous NEO 2T firmware via TTA (Tacx Training App).
Open TTA on a mobile device
Connect the trainer
With TTA open in the background open the firmware restore link
Select ''Set Up Trainer'' or click the trainer
Select Firmware Update
Select ''Update Now'' to update the trainer

Has there been any movement on this? Neo 2T firmware 2.7.0 still does not show cadence in FulGaz, except with device filtering off and the numbers are quite wrong. Downgrading to pre 2.6.0 no longer seems possible…

On Dec. 9 a Garmin support person gave me a link to downgrade from 2.7.0 to 0.0.38. All is working again with the old firmware. Here’s the link, process to apply it is the same as described for the other link in this thread. Though I had to close TTA and let it open from the link click.

Thank you for the updated link but has this been officially fixed, can I update my trainer to the latest firmware ? I use a mix of FulGaz (which is amazing) and Tacx trainer app. It’s just annoying the Tacx app always asking me to upgrade my trainer firmware

i have same issue with 2.7 ugrade to Tacx - and like some others I am using APPLE TV - so i either run one connection for the trainer and the other for either HRM or a seperate Cadence sensor. the limit to two (plus third for remote) is Apple TV. Any suggestions as to how to overcome this issue. Fulgaz needs to do an upgrade.

There is some chatter on the Garmin/Tacx forums about issues with this latest firmware for the NEO 2T. Potentially an issue that needs to be addressed through a further update to the trainer.
