Own passport not visible when set to private

My passport is set to private. However, I’d still expect that I could visit it myself when logged in. This is not the case: going to the passport page, I’m greeted with “This FulGaz Passport is not publicly available”.

Seems like this can be resolved temporarily by setting the passport to public briefly, after which it can be visited even when setting it back to private. I’ve done this a week or 2 ago however, and now I’m greeted with the same “not […] available” message once more.
