Device pairing

I continue to have difficulty pairing my devices with FulGaz. My 4iiii power meter rarely shows as an available device, my Kickr trainer is erratic in being detected, and my HR monitor (Coospo) is always challenging to see and connect. I try various tricks and nothing works consistently. Now for the kicker: I also use Rouvy, Zwift, and TP virtual. All of them connect in a snap. Since you’re now part of Rouvy, do you have access to the software that could improve FulGaz’s device connectivity? I LOVE FulGaz, but am continually frustrated by the connection quirk.

Remove duplicate devices from pairing screen

Ever since version 5 got released I have 2 of every device (except HRM) on the pairing screen. Pairing is as Bluetooth devices and FulGaz shows 2 controllable trainers, 2 power sensors and 2 cadence sensors.

Hi Steven. Could you let me know what device(s) you are using please? And if possible, post a screenshot of your FulGaz connection screen showing the multiple options.

I have an Elite Direto (original version) and running on Windows 10. I only have 1 Bluetooth receiver (laptop internal).

Happy to send any logs if that helps

I also see duplicates. In my case, 2 power and 3 cadence. This is not new - it’s happened for multiple years, and I’ve reported it in the past.

    ride stopping partway through

I have an apple TV and a Sirus trainer. I was riding Nicasio Valley this week and twice it stopped and wouldn’t go forward. The timer kept running but I wasn’t moving and the distance meter also did not move. Pausing the ride didn’t help. I ended up clicking save for later and restarting and that worked the first time. The second time that didn’t work either. Luckily, the second time I was about 30 seconds from the amount of time I wanted to ride so I just pedaled for 30 more seconds. This hasn’t happened before but would be super annoying if I were doing a climb. THis time I was just doing a recovery ride.

    Resistance Dropouts on AppleTV Version

This was a previous issue where approximately every 40sec the trainer resistance would momentarily disappear and take a few seconds to restore itself. The previous version of Apple TV combined with me changing channels on the wifi transmitter resolved this, but I noticed the problem is back again with the current version.

      Hi,

What trainer are you using, and what connection method (BTLE or Direct Connect)?

      Thanks!

This also can happen on Apple TV with a WattBike trainer (Bluetooth)

Not automatically connecting after upgrade on Apple TV

Previously, my Saris trainer would automatically connect to Fulgaz on Apple TV. After the recent upgrade, it no longer connects even after clicking on the Connect tabs. I now have to get out of Fulgaz and sometimes even reboot my Apple TV to get Fulgaz to recognize my trainer. Is there a setting/fix/work around? Thanks!
